how to get wp_dropdown_pages to work?

  • I can’t seem to get wp_dropdown_pages, to work well.
    I want a pages dropdown menu where the user selects a page and the browser directs them there right away.

    But when I use wp_dropdown_pages (with no arguments) it creates the dropdown, but doesn’t include the urls of the pages, just the ID#’s. So it looks good but it doesn’t work!

    It does work if you include a “Go” button, because then the ID#’s are sent via “get” method. But I don’t want to use the Go button.

    Am I missing something here? TIA
