How to Get WP to ignore Pingbacks from my own site (?)

    I’ve got Pingbacks enabled on my wordpress installation, and occasionally link to my own blog posts. Over time, these pingbacks inflate my “comment” numbers, and clutter the comment sections of those blog entries.

    Is there a way to get WP to stop counting self-referring links from my own blog as pingbacks?
