How to get wordpress blog to show up under my mapped domain?

I mapped my domain to wordpress. Then updated primary domain to the newly mapped domain. When I go to visit the site it shows the website itself and not the blog.

I want to have the wordpress blog appear when my personal domain is typed in. When I type in domainname.com I want the wordpress blog to show up and not the actual domainname.com website itself.

So I basically want the standard wordpress blog to show up when my newly mapped domain name is typed in and cant get it to do so. Am I missing something?
