How to get the search and other views

Greetings, I have installed the tools and the bbcode seems to work fine, but it is a brand new site so no real testing yet. But when I go to the forums I dont know where to find the search ect. Thanks for helping. I am using your latest just installed. I even installed the widgets but for some reason it is not coming through. Thank you for you help.
