How to get Strikethroughs to Work

I love this plugin! I got different colors withing a latex equation to work, but can’t get the strikethrough (like for crossing out factors in numerator and denominator) to work. Any ideas? I usually just get an error message on the page.

Oh and I usually create my latex from creating equation in Mathtype (Word) and dragging or pasting code in wordpress.

Also – when I paste and copy from Mathtype equations (I use “cut and copy preferences” “equation for application – wordpress”, I get an extra {l} (I assume for left) when I do display type equations. I have just been deleting it and the rendering turns out fine.

I’ve also tried changing my “cut and copy preferences” in Mathtype to other things (such as Mathjax – Latex and amslatex), with similar results.

I spoke with Mathtype support, and they don’t yet support converting strikethroughs to latex, but shouldn’t I be able to edit my equations (like I do with colors) to make them?
