How to get rid of the share numbers?

Thanks for the feature request! Removing share counts is something that may appear in a future version of the plugin.

For now, there’s some CSS in the topic here that you’re welcome to add to your theme code if you’d like to remove the counts:

Note, though, that modifying the display of the buttons in this way may break the styling and functionality following plugin updates in the future, though – just thought it worth mentioning!
