how to get rid of the rss thingy

  • so how can i get rid of the rss thingy in the comment page? i want to keep it nice and clean. and i don’t think i need rss for my website.

  • In wp-comments.php, line 48 is this:
    <?php comments_rss_link(__("RSS feed for comments on this post.")); ?>
    Just delete that.
    The same line will probably be in the popup file too if you use popups.

    On a side note, get an RSS reader and try RSS for a while. I didn’t want it at the beginning either, but I think it’s great now. 90% of my unique visits are through RSS readers, it just makes it easier on your “fans”.
