How to get rid of summary in category

What theme are you using? Try removing the_excerpt(); from the loop in category.php or archive.php.

I’m using prosense. There is no category but there is archive.php.

i removed the_excerpt with no luck

Without the_excerpt() you can still see the summary on a category page? Are you sure this is a category page?
