    Hello,

    I am pretty new to wordpress.
    When I copy and paste html in the wysiwyg editor it seems add its own paragraph tags all over the place. Is there a way turn this behaviour off? Many thanks in advance for your help.

    Use the HTML tab for HTML markup.

    I am using the html tab.
    Here is what I see when I view source:

    <p><!--/#rightCol--><br />
            <img src="https://localhost/endeavorfit/wp-content/themes/test/images/ad_improve_skills.jpg" alt="improve your skills" id="imgImp"/></p>

    but this is what I see in the HTML editor:

    <!--/#rightCol-->
            <img src="https://localhost/endeavorfit/wp-content/themes/test/images/ad_improve_skills.jpg" alt="improve your skills" id="imgImp"/>
