How to get rid of Meta and Archive on my posts

  • I am currently using the sixteen theme and I have this meta and archive section by the footer of my posts and I would like to know how to get rid of it. Can any one help me? I thought I had resolved this issue but I have not. Site
    Look at that post for instance, at the bottom it has meta and archive.

  • Hi – was having the same problem myself.

    In the Widgets screen under Appearance, you probably have nothing in the Primary Sidebar widget area. Try dragging a text widget or any other “blank” widget there and that will remove the “default” ones. (or, obviously, put a widget there that you want)
