  • Hi Soco111,

This is the default behavior of your theme (and most themes) when displaying a custom post type. To adjust this, you need to modify the template files of your theme (or child theme) to remove these elements on menu post types. You can see an example of the steps that another person used to remove a featured image on their menu page here:

If you’re not comfortable editing WordPress template files, an alternative is to use the menu shortcode in a page of your theme. Basically, instead of linking directly to the menu post, you’ll create a page for your menu and add a shortcode to the menu. The shortcode can be found on the right when editing the menu.

Most themes don’t show date/author/etc on pages, so this will probably solve your problem.

There are a couple options with the menu shortcode. You can learn about these in the plugin documentation. Look under the list of installed plugins in your admin dashboard, find the Food and Drink Menu, and click the Help link underneath.

Thanks for the fast response! I chose the shortcode option since I’m not familiar with editing the theme files. It worked really well.
