  • There is nothing in the plugin settings. As long as your business information is filled out on each page that has reviews and reviews are enabled on the page, the plugin will display microformat data that can be picked up by search engines. The rest is up to them.

    @gowebsol

    When you say, “as long as your business information is filled out on each page that has reviews and reviews are enabled, the plugin will display the microformat data that can be picked up by search engines.”

    How can I check that microformat data is being output on the page?

    I guess the microformat data are the itemprop tags in the code?

    <div id="wpcr3_id_2902" class="wpcr3_review" itemprop="review" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Review"><meta itemprop="author" content="Jay Carlsen" /><div class="wpcr3_hide" itemprop="reviewRating" itemscope itemtype="https://schema.org/Rating"><meta itemprop="bestRating" content="5" /><meta itemprop="worstRating" content="1" /><meta itemprop="ratingValue" content="5" /></div><div class="wpcr3_review_ratingValue"><div class="wpcr3_rating_style1"><div class="wpcr3_rating_style1_base "><div class="wpcr3_rating_style1_average" style="width:100%;"></div></div></div></div><div class="wpcr3_review_datePublished" itemprop="datePublished">Apr 7, 2016</div> <div class="wpcr3_review_author">by <span class="wpcr3_caps">Jay Carlsen</span> on <span class="wpcr3_item_name"><a href="https://totalmerchantresources.com/business-financial-solutions/">Total Merchant Resources LLC</a></span></div><div class="wpcr3_clear"></div><div class="wpcr3_review_title wpcr3_caps">Quick and Painless</div><div class="wpcr3_clear"></div><blockquote class="wpcr3_content" itemprop="reviewBody"><p>I have had several cash advance/loans with Jason, each went quick and easy. Jason is very willing to work with you and your needs.</p></blockquote></div>

    The Google testing tool validated the results. Thank you.

    Great! I validated my page and everything looks good.

    When I google for the site, the stars still do not appear in the search results. @gowebsol, you state that the rest is up to them, but there must be something I can do to get the stars to appear?

    @arnus71, I would take a look at this post at Moz.com where I explained this a bit more.
