I know you helped me with this before, but I can not find the note. One site has this working fine, but I can’t seem to get it on a new site.

I added a field and I would like it to be an item in the search widget, like swimming pool. How do I get this done?

I could not find it in the knowledge base and the manual made it sound like it automatically gets added to the search widget when created (pg. 11)

    Thank You for your help.

    Hello,

How do you added this field? if you added it via Flex menu you should have it on search widget fields. But if you added the field manually from database (not recommended) you should set “searchmod” column to 1 in [wp_prefix]_wpl_dbst table.
Also in next update of WPL, you can set this parameter from flex menu.

I added it through flex. It created it in the wpl_dbst table and searchmod is set to 1. It is still not showing up in the search.

There may be something screwy with this install. This is a new site and I had a problem when setting it up, it was creating Categories instead of Property Types.

When I try to delete a created property type, it does not delete it and I get the message:
    Delete property type Room
Purge properties in this property type
    Assign to another property type
There are no properties of this type.

I’ll create a support ticket and let you play with it.
