How to get more traffic to our site?

  • We are a new Bootstrap & WordPress theme marketplace (1month old) with a very active blog as well. We hired an SEO expert for a month and he did quite a bit. But we are not seeing any results at all. First of all we cant figure out if we should be looking at our Analytics stats or our web server stats because our web server always shows atleast triple the amount of visits compared to what Analytics shows us.     SEO usually takes 3-6 months to have a significant impact. You should just talk to your SEO about this.

    One month work is not enough time to see a significant impact, unless you had some major onsite problems that the SEO was able to fix, and even then it will not necessarily be an immediate impact, it can take a few months.

    Google Analytics (organic visits) is generally the best way to measure SEO performance.
