As of WordPress 4.6.1, the CMS comes with access to Genericon icons (https://genericons.com/). How can we use more arrow icon options in the Max Mega Menu system, instead of just being limited to the 12 arrows that comes with the plugin? I need a thicker more roundish corner arrow to my menu system.

    Thanks!

    Hi blackawxs,

I’m fairly sure genericons aren’t included in core WordPress – I think you are thinking of Dashicons? All of the dashicon arrow options are included in the plugin.

Using genericons is far more complex, it requires enqueuing genericons first, then overriding the arrow CSS, it’s not something I can justify covering under free support sorry.

Thank you for the clarity on this. I made a mistake on assuming the wrong type of font icons. Nowing this now, is it possible to extend the icon options with more dashicon options? if so, what is the “Max Mega Menu” way of doing it?

    Hi,

It’s possible but it requires custom CSS. All of the available arrow type options are included in the drop down, so I am not sure which other one you would want to use instead?
