    Hi there,

Thank you for a simple and cool notification bar plugin.

I was wondering if you could help with getting the bar to remain sticky with an already sticky header.

This option uses the modern “sticky” CSS position so it will only work in modern browsers and could cause conflicts with your theme’s build in sticky functions so be sure to test accordingly and include the proper offsets.

I really want to know about the offsets and how to set them up. I am using Elementor. Any guidance would be appreciated.

    Hi,

This is Aj the plugin developer. The sticky function should work automatically in most cases without any extra code, but if it isn’t I would need to take a look at the site in question to see how it’s setup because the code to make things work would be specific to site.

For example, your theme may be adding an overflow hidden via CSS to the body tag which breaks sticky CSS and so the fix would be to override that. Or perhaps your site is using javascript for their sticky header and so the theme’s sticky header is going over the top bar in which case the CSS to fix that depends on how the sticky header works.

Elementor is page builder and I know they have a function built-in for creating a sticky header, but you can also use Elementor without the Theme builder so the sticky header can be part of the theme itself (like if you are using my Total theme for example with Elementor you may choose to use the theme’s native header rather then Elementor for the header). Also Elementor has various settings that can change how the sticky header works and it’s positioned.

There are just so many factors that it’s impossible for me to provide any sort of feedback without actually looking at your site to see how it’s laid out.

Are you able to share the URL? Thanks!

What’s up AJ? Thanks for getting back to me.

For now I removed Elementor’s sticky functionality. If the client would rather have the sticky header with the notification bar I may let you know. I can do some investigating myself. If I get stuck I will let you know.

HEY, You seem like cool people after checking out your responses to people here. Your Total Theme is very clean. The demos are great starters for anybody. I actually plan on pulling away from custom sites to using a theme again. It is so much easier. I am going to check it out this weekend. I may purchase it.

Your time and attention is appreciated. Thanks again.

    Hey Tony,

    That’s awesome ??

If you have any pre-purchase questions you can let me know here or in the ThemeForest comments. Or if you purchase the theme and have any problems at all, let me know on ThemeForest. I reply to all comments over there.

    Have a nice weekend,

    – AJ
