• Hi, I’ve had a design in mind for my site for a while now and have been considering using WordPress for the backend.

My general browsing brought me upon this site: https://www.cssreboot.com/ – which has a feature that’s present in my mock-up, but I can’t figure out how they did it.

What I mean is the info box that appears on top of the thumbnail images when you hover over them.

    Any ideas? Thanks.

  • I think that the use of the “alt” attribute in image tags allows you specify and view information about the image in a tool-tip like rectangular box when you mouse over an image. Is that what you refer to? Or could it be the title attribute? Hmmm… ??

No, I mean the black info box that appears over each thumbnail – the thing with Title, Ratings and Comments.

Sorry… Now that we can be specific, I would almost bet that it is Lester Chan’s WP-postratings plugin, and that it has been integrated with a hover menu.
