How to get featured image to stretch all the way

    1. When I use a big picture as a featured image for a post, it stretches all the way over the white area. ALMOST the whole area that is.

    There are still one or a few pixles of white visible to the right, which creates a thin white line at the far right of every picture.

    It′s not much, but it still bothers me a little bit. Is there a way to get the Image to stretch all the way out?

    2. Another way to get around this would be to post a picture that is a bit smaller, but then I would like the picture to be centered above the text, not alligned to the left. Is this possible=

    I don’t know why, but suddenly the images DO stretch all the way. It still happens that an image doesn′t stretch all the way when I visit the site on a mobile device, but that’s really no problem.

    THIS IS NOT RESOLVED
    I am having the same problem. yesterday the thumbs where working fine, but today vertical thumbs just wont strech…..why this happens and how to fix it?
