How to get events to display on the day on the calendar widget on side bar.

    Hi there,

    I have installed the plugin and added the calendar plugin on my side bar. I have created an event for the 20th (Friday) and the event shows on Friday on the sidebar when I click on Friday.

    My problem is: People wont see there is an event on Friday unless they click on Friday on the calendar by sheer chance or unless they are on the site on Friday when the event will show in the sidebar (I’m guessing here as this is my first time using this plugin and Friday has yet to come).

    How do I get dates with events on them to show on the calendar on the sidebar such as highlighting days with event on them? I have looked through forums and settings and have not seen this topic covered but my apologies if I have missed it somewhere.

  • Hi,

    The only way is to change the color of the box from white to red, for example.

    Set a color for the category. The events of the category will be highlighted with the selected color.
