How to get Automatic Latest Content URL

While there are a number of different shortcodes that can be used in a newsletter or post notification, there’s not a built-in shortcode to get a URL to the latest post or the URL for a specific post being included by the Automatic Latest Content block.

There is a shortcode for the most recent post title — [newsletter:post_title] — but not one for the URL to the most recent post.

It could be possible with a custom shortcode via custom coding. There’s info about creating custom shortcodes here: https://kb.mailpoet.com/article/160-create-a-custom-shortcode

Assistance with custom code like that would be outside our scope of support though.
