  • First, of course, your posts need to be indexed by Google and shown in your search console without errors.

    Posts will only appear with lightning bolt in SERPS, for mobile users; otherwise normal mobile friendly post will appear with “mobile friendly” label or whatever it says this month.

    Supposedly not yet working in all countries/languages.

    To get indexed faster and more regulary I wrote a small plugin which helped me: https://jaaadesign.nl/en/blog/amp-sitemap/

    Our pages were indexed as soon as Google read them and validated them from our existing sitemaps. We simple resubmitted our sitemaps to Google once we had the AMP endpoints working and validated per the chrome console developer tag.
