How to get alt text to show in Gallery?

    I am using the default Gallery block and I have been updating my images in the Media Library. However the alt text I have updated does not show up for the same image already displayed in the Gallery.

    The only way for the alt text to show is I have to replace the image and select the same image again.


    Is there a way to tell the gallery to update all images without having to replace each image 1by1 so the alt text will get pulled in?
