I currently am using the Meta Slider Free version and I have all my sliders setup as 800pixels x 500pixels…. and I have the images all cropped so that the main content is to the centre of the slider, but when I review on my phone and the shape is more square… it seems to display the content from the left which is not very good to look at.

Can something be done to fix this… or if I go Meta Slider Pro will that help…?

Ant suggestions or worksarounds would be very much appreciated.

    Regards,
    Anthony

  • Hi there,

Do you have a link to your slider?

    Thanks,

Hi Dave…. greeting from Ireland and thank you so much for your reply.

Here’s a sample project and slider and if you look at this on your mobile phone in portrait format it seems to only display the slider content from the left… I would prefer to have the display content from the center…? But if you put your phone in landscape mode it displays the full slider.

Is there a solution so that in portrait mode the main central emphasis of the slide content is displayed as I try and keep the central part of a slide as the best part.

Any thoughts or comments or assistance would be very much appreciated.

    Regards,
    Anthony

    Hi Anthony,

I’m not able to reproduce the scenario you’ve described – the slide has the same dimensions for both portrait and landscape view on a phone.

There is a crop tab with the ‘crop position’ setting, have you tried experimenting with this?

    Thanks,
    Dave
