I’m testing Postie (great plugin) however no matter what combination of these settings, highlighted here, I try:
    https://screencast.com/t/e9P1yO9ot3L
and no matter weather I send the email as plain text or html with text from either desktop or web clients, I always get, in both the post and the excerpt, either:

    a) every line of the entire email merged as one giant para (with or without HTML codes depending on the settings)

    or

    b) every line of every para chopped about 70-80 chars (as you often seen in the history of an email or a text only email) and again with or without HTML and/or <br> at the end of every line depending on the settings.

What I would like in the post and excerpt is plain text (no html) and all a paragraphs (i.e. blocks of text between blank lines) merged as one block, preferably surrounded by <p> and ‘</p>`. I’d prefer to send the email as plain text, but can send it is as plain text and/or plain text with HTML.

Is there anyway to do this?

    Thx

Please send a sample email (an original, not a forward) to [email protected]

Unfortunately I’ve seen a number of emails recently that are not being encoded correctly resulting in the behaviour you are seeing.

What email clients are you trying?
