    Hello,

I am using this module on my homepage – hoursopentoclose.com. For each store I use thumbnail extracted from post content (using ”Substitute” feature). But thumbnails are actually full images resized using html. I want to generate new images of specified size.

Currently the module is just loading the full image from the post and adjusting it’s size via width and height attributes. This is very bad for SEO and page speed, because why loading a 500 KB image when you can gen the image and resize to be just 10 KB.

This would be a nice feature I think.

    Thank you.

    Hi there,
    Thank you for contacting us.
As I see you are using Content Views Pro (with “Substitute” feature).

When you select an existing option in Display Settings >> Fields Settings >> Thumbnail >> Size, the plugin will not resize images in post content automatically.

To resize these images, in Display Settings >> Fields Settings >> Thumbnail >> Size, you should:
    – select the < Custom size > option
    – set Width, Height value (for example: 150)
    – select the Hard resize option
