• I have been developing my website. I came up with one serious problem. I don’t understand how search result page works. When I type something on search, it leads to certain pages that has no CSS layout design. Please check out this screenshot (https://prnt.sc/sie7gb). The search result page of my site has no sidebar too. Do I need to customize manually everything about search result pages? If yes How do I do it so that I can design my search result page as I want?

I am using Astra child theme.

Thank you for reading my issue. Sorry for my English.

Did you copy the search.php file from your themes folder into your /themes/astra-child/ folder?
According to the file, the layout needs to be assigned in your Astra page layout settings for the sidebars.

    Hey corrinarusso,
Thank you for your reply. Yes, I had copied search.php and searchform.php in my child theme. I have created a search result page theme using elementor also. I got into more problems there. For example, I created search result page with the term ‘FOOD’. I also add a condition like display posts in the ‘food’ category. When I search for food in the search bar, it did not display all the posts related to food. It should display all the posts related to ‘food’. Hope you understand!
