How to format images in posts

  • For the life of me, this is the one big thing that has plagued my wordpress experience. I’ve tried several different templates, but this problem recurs in all of them. The alignment buttons just do not work when I try to edit image in wordpress. Any suggestions? Anyone else have this problem.     Would this help me with other issues with image placement or will I need to look somewhere else for help.

    I want a gap between my photo’s and it wont do it. Actually, I’d like the image, then break, writing, break, second image. It’s all squished up at the moment and at one point anything I wrote under a photo got squashed out into the side bar four photo’s from where it was meant to appear.
