  • By default, the plugin will switch the player based on the device. If user watching the site in desktop, it will be played in flash player and if it is a mobile device, then the plugin will automatically switch the player to HTML5 player. But if you have the flash plugin in your mobile, then the priority will be given to the flash player in the mobile device. Share your site link. I’ll check your site in mobile and confirm the issue.

To force this plugin use HTML5 instead of flash, just search for $mobile = vgallery_detect_mobile (); in /wp-content/plugins/contus-video-gallery/front/views/videodetailpage.php and replace all ocurrences with $mobile = true;.
I’ve got to find this solution for myself because I get an error on FireFox saying “Net connection not available in your system”. I saw many complains in forums of people having this issue, but seems that the devs of this $99 plugin simply doesn’t believe their users because they “Can’t reproduce the error in their office PC’s” and offer solutions like “Are you sure you’re connected to internet?“. Good work and better support!

    Hi Campsjos,

The issue you are referring to is different from the original post. The Firefox issue was an update from YouTube and this has been fixed already and updated in the package long back.

i’m afraid i’m experiencing the “Net connection not available on your system” right now, viewing your own demo page on FireFox 47 on a Mac OSX 10.9.5

the demo page does work on Chrome (desktop and tablet) and FireFox/tablet, but not on my FireFox/Desktop.

The issue of “Net connection not available on your system” in our demo page on Mozilla FireFox browser has been fixed now. And the fix has been updated to our latest package VideoGallery 3.0 long back.
