• I upgraded from 2.0.4 to 2.0.5 before the site went “live.” I don’t know if this was the issue or not, but at first, any time I made a post, I’d get an error saying something about my mysql version and how using a “‘” (asterisk) was causing trouble. The post would be there in normal view. But always got the error message.

My host thought it might be the theme. But every theme did this. So I re-uploaded the 2.0.5 files and ran the upgrade script again. But there is still an error.

And if someone leaves a comment, they still get this message. Can anyone point me in the right direction about how to fix it?

Figured it out. It was Scripturizer Remix plugin

Oh ok, glad to hear you fixed it. ?? Can this be marked [Resolved] now, or..? Also, if you could, maybe share what actually caused the error, and what exactly fixed it? Thanks!

/I know you mentioned the plugin there, but..meant specifically of how that gave the error or problem to begin with.. =P

I don’t know what caused the error other than the plugin. I was searching Google w/ the error message and stumbled across a suggestion to turn off that plugin. And it went away when I deactivated the plugin.

That’s all I can tell you. But glad things are working again.
