How to fix the posts on front page?

  • Hello!

    I am trying to fix my FRONT PAGE with few posts rather than recent posts. here is what I want to do.

    1) slider (done)
    2) ABOUt (page/post)
    2)feature page
    3) any post/page.

    right now, when I add a new post it appears on front page but under feature page and arranges itself time wise . I want to arrange it as per my requirement. what do I have to change?

  • There are several solutions, all involving a bit of php coding, but let me suggest a plugin in your case.

    I would use this plugin to re-order the posts:
    Simple Custom Post Order
    It allows you to drag and drop and re-position all your posts, so on the home page you’ll be able to show your posts as they appear in your custom list and not anymore from the most recent ones.

    This is the easiest solution for now.
