    Hello everybody,

I know this is a question which has already been asked several times on the forum, but I have tried to follow the indications given to make it works, and it doesn’t work.

Here is my problem: I have inserted a slideshow with wppa on one of my website’s pages. In the associated album, there are some landscape and portrait images. I would like the portrait and the landscape images to be displayed with the same height.
My portrait images are 480px high and 360px width.
My landscape images are 480px high and 640px width.

In the options I have set:
    – Table I-A1 (column width) to 640px
    – Table I-A2 (resize on upload): the option is checked
    – Table I-A3 (Resize to) to “Fit within rectangle as set in Table I-B1,2”
    – Table I-B1 (maximum width) to 640px
    – Table I-B2 (maximum height) to 480px
    – Table IV-B1 (V align) to center

An it doesn’t work. The landscape images are well displayed with a width equal to the maximum with of 640px and a height equal to the maximum height of 48Opx. But for the portrait images unfortunately, they are displayed with the maximal with value also, that is with a width of 640px instead of 360px, and a height which is greater than the maximal value of 480px.

If somebody can help me, I would be really grateful!

    Thank you very much

    Céline

A link to the page with the slideshow please, and what is the theme you use?

The link of the page: here (bottom of the page)

    and the theme is Tempera.

I tried to reproduce this but i did not succeed.
The theme is responsive, so you should set Table I-A1 to auto.

If you want to use 60% of the column width, use size=”0.6″ in the shortcode

Also, make sure Table I-B3 is NOT ticked.

What is the shortcode on the page for the slideshow?

the shortcode is the following one:
    [wppa type=”slide” album=”10″][/wppa]

I have set Table I-A1 to auto, and have checked that Table I-B3 was not ticked, which was the case. It still doesn’t work.

This is one of my testsites with the config as you stated above.
    https://beta.opajaap.nl/test-for-dametortue/?occur=1&cover=0&album=210&photo=Afb025.jpg
There are also 2 photos not-resized during upload.

Thank you very much for your quick answer and your help.

I have finally found what was the problem even if it does not tell me why it is a problem.
In my page, I have inserted two wppa objects:
    – the first one was a simple photo, with the shortcode:
    [wppa type=”photo” photo=”189″][/wppa]
    – the second one was the slideshow with the shortcode:
    [wppa type=”slide” album=”10″][/wppa]
When the two objects are present, there is the problem with the size of the portrait images in the slideshow. If I remove the photo (shortcode [wppa type=”photo” photo=”189″][/wppa]), the problem with the slideshow disappear.
If you know why, I would be interested to know!

    Thank you
