How to fix my wrong install wordpress on my site?

  • HI everyone

    I have problem in the beginning I start my blog, I accidently install WordPress on my domain name like this : https://www.madebymt.com/blog, it’s should be only https://www.madebymt.com
    And now I have trouble give people my URL, because something is too long or people forget /blog, so let can’t see the right one.
    Now my problem is I ask my HostGator (My host company ) to help me fix all the file to https://www.madebymt.com, they said it cost around $75 dollars to fix it, is that reasonable?
    Or
    I should export all the content I have in my blog, and import in https://www.madebymt.com( I can install WordPress on that one) but would that hurt my SEO from google?

    What would you do?
