You will probably need to use the link and then add a teddy to basket.
next click view cart to the right in the green bar.

viewing the shopping basket from the cart button works.

When I click the view cart button in the green added to basket banner I get a critical error message.

I have deactivated all plugins and reactivated them 1 by 1.
After each plugin has been reactivated I tested the website.

All works fine when viewing my website whilst logged in to wordpress but I get the same critical error when I visit my site after login out.

What else can I try in order to find out a way to fix this?

The page I need help with: [log in to see the link]

  • Hello,

When I click the view cart button in the green added to basket banner I get a critical error message.

Can you check to see if there are any error logs in WooCommerce > System Status > Logs? If yes, please share the error logs here.

I understand you’ve tried deactivating plugins, but please also switch to a default theme like Storefront and deactivate all plugins except WooCommerce to see if you still get the same error. You can find a more detailed explanation on how to do a full conflict test here: https://docs.woocommerce.com/document/how-to-test-for-conflicts/

I managed to fix this error. Thanks.

The problem was shown in the error log to be a code snippet that I used to redirect after checkout back to my home page.

I have disabled this snippet. No error problem.

However, I have tried to use a snippet from a blog to redirect to a thank you page with purchase details after checkout. This does’t work either. I have raised a new post about this.

One simple solution would be to catch the train to the end of my local pier and “accidentally” drop my laptop into the sea. Knowing my luck the tide will be out which leaves a vast expanse of mud! ??

    Hi @tony-webb

Good to know the error could be fixed by disabling the snippet.

Thanks for opening a new thread for the other issue. You should receive an update on it soon.

I’m marking this topic as resolved. Cheers!
