How to fix cache issues with domain aliases?

    I have noticed a very annoying problem with WP Super Cache for the past 12-18 months that has appeared more and more problematic.

    On many of our sites we have multiple domain aliases pointing to the main blogs. WP Super Cache appears to cache these domains separately, which is fine, but then it rarely seems to refresh itself.

    Is there a way around this? I have noticed it on more than a dozen different WP installations running for the past 1.5 years on different boxes. Any ideas?
