How to fix a plug in and change its code

Hi – there seems to be plug in that is pulling data from somewhere else. Here is the page:

They’ve asked me to go in and set up the above page so that it displays with the dates first and then the posts like this:

https://www.gulfspillrestoration.noaa.gov/media-center/archive/

I can’t seem to find which plug in is doing this. On the first page, in the publish box where you add WP content, it says:

<!– simple_archive –>

I can’t seem to find a widget called “simple archive” in the WP system. Plus if I find the widget, what would be the code change I need to make so it displays like the 2nd link above?
