    There is a bug in the pagination system.
    When you set “Discussion” settings to break comments into pages of (for example) 8 comments per page and show the last page by first (because you want people to see the newest comments first) then you get a page of the remainder of the comments. for example is a certain post has 33 comments and you set it to 8 comments per page, that you will get 5 pages. 4 of them with 8 comments and the last page with only 1 comment! so a visitor that comes to your post sees only 1 comment on a post that generated a lot more interest…

    in order to fix the bug, it should make the last page of comments (which is the first page the user sees) with 8 comments. and only if the user flips the comment pages until the end, he will see the page with only one comment.
