How to fix 404 errors found in categories?

What happens if you switch to the Twenty Twelve theme?

Just checked, still doesn’t work with 2012.

Can we see the site using the default theme with all plugins deactivated?

Same problem, although I did keep the Jetpack plugin active, since it links my site to WP.

I experienced this problem once before with my previous theme, it pretty much fixed itself last time.

Any idea?

@egyft: As per the Forum Welcome, please post your own topic. Posting in an existing topic prevents us from being able to track issues by topic. Added to which, your problem – despite any similarity in symptoms – is likely to be completely different.

@egyft – If you’re using permalinks go to the Settings -> Permalinks and switch them to default (no permalinks). See if that helps.

It had nothing to do with plugins, turns out, I needed to access permalinks (thanks wpcanyon for pointing me in that direction) and set a ‘category base’. The default, /category, was corrupted unless you type it in yourself.

Resolved.
