How to Find Dofollow Outbound Links From My Website

    Hello

    I am looking for a WordPress plugin or an external website or any tool which can help me in analysing the links of my own website. I am NOT talking about the backlinks but the links created from my own website.

    Basically, I want to check how many outbound links from my website are there which have “dofollow” attribute since I want to change them back to “nofollow”.

  • There are many ways to find dofollow outbound links:

    Use the NoFollow browser extension to check for nofollow and dofollow links quickly. 

    Use SEO Minion Chrom extension: Once you add this extension from the “HIghlight all Links” menu, you can highlight all the outbound dofollow links on the page you visit.

    Use the WP External Links plugin to add the nofollow attribute to your site’s links automatically. You can add exemptions for some websites you want to mark as dofollow.

    Hi Clay

    Thank you so much for your prompt response on this. I have a 11 year old website and have around 25,000 articles published. So, I cannot manually visit each page one by one. That will take me ages to discover such dofollow outbound links.

    Is there any tool or plugin which can do a complete site audit and give me a list of such links so that I can manually then change the link back to “nofollow”?

    For example, “Broken Link Checker” WordPress plugin does a complete site audit and then gives me a list of broken links which I then manually fix them. I am looking for such kind of a tool for dofollow outbound links.
