How to find a Booking Plugin that has fixed arrival and departure dates

    Can anybody advise whether there a Forum somewhere to get advice on finding the right Booking plugin that would work on a new website I would like developed?

    I am looking for a “Booking Plugin” to enable a guest to book one of our residential yoga retreats.

    I have searched for and investigated many WordPress hotel plugins, but I have not been able to find the main functionality that I am looking for.

    I guess that some experienced WordPress Developers may be more familiar with what ‘Booking Plugins’ exist.

    All Hotel Booking plugins that I have seen, ask the guest to input the arrival date and the departure date.

    However I wish to present a list of our upcoming yoga retreats (and each retreat has a fixed start and end date), let the guest choose which retreat they want, and then present the available room types and prices, and let the guest book for 1 or more people, and make an online payment to complete their booking.

    Is there a Forum anywhere that I could get advice on what Plugin that might be possible to customise to provide this functionality?

    From what I have seen, ‘MotoPress Hotel Booking’ plugin looks great, but I can’t see anyway to bypass the ‘select arrival and departure date’.

    Any advice appreciated.

    Using our Hotel Booking plugin you may try to set up certain check-in and check-out days of the week, define minimum and maximum stay in periods per seasons per each accommodation type via Dashboard > Bookings > Booking Rules.

    Is it possible for us to pass the arrival and departure date as parameters to your Hotel Booking form, so that the dates will already be populated, and the guest can simply choose which room they prefer, and number of guests etc. ?

    We have a different yoga retreat each weekend, and normally we present a list of the upcoming retreats showing the start & end date of each retreat, who is teaching the retreat and then the guest then chooses which retreat to book.

    And we are hoping that we could then present your booking form plugin with the start & end date already selected.

    Is this possible?

    Hi Dave @burrenyoga,
    If you do not need arrival and departure fields in the form you may not use it and simply list certain properties on the page to let the visitors check one -> visit the page -> and book it if it meets their requirements.
    Using our other plugin – Getwid and WordPress block editor you may list the accommodation types in different ways – list, grid, carousel, slider.
    Let me know if it is helpful or you need another way to make the reservation.
