    I can’t seem to make the feed filter work based on the product variation attribute.

    I have a product which has an variation attribute called Style. It comes in 3 different style attribute variants: black wood, white wood and natural wood. But when I try and filter by variation, no items show up in the feed.

    I tried to filter by: Pa style (custom attribute), Style (Dynamic attribute), Attribute pa Style (Custom attribute) and by product name and neither option seems to return any products..

    I’m using condition = contains, value = Black Wood, CS not selected (not sure what that does), and the include only option.

    Is there a bug or am I not using the right option to filter by variation so I only get the black wood products in my feed.

    Thanks,
    Chris

  • Hi Chris,

    You know the drill ?? Can you send us the debug.log as described in our blog post so we can see how exactly you have configured your filters?

    Thanks

    The feeds I’m trying to resolve is the Google UK GBP Wall Art Prints and the Google UK GBP Wall Art Canvas ones.

    @leverager hello! I would love to know if you have managed to output the feed with 1 entry per variation!!

    Isn’t that what you where trying to do?

    Hi,
    @alkis12 Yes I’m trying to filter my variations so that only specific entries are displayed in the feed. I’m waiting on the adtribes developers to get back to me as the filtering by product variation doesn’t seem to be working right now.

    Hi Chris,

    I noticed you created a filter to ‘include_only’ products that have ‘framed’ in their product name:

                                [attribute] => title
                                [condition] => contains
                                [criteria] => framed
                                [than] => include_only

    Your product names have framed with a capital letter F (Framed). So could you change the filter to ‘Framed’. That should work just fine.

    All the best,
    Eva

    @alkis12 With the last update, if you ensure variable text is case sensitive and you select variation name (dynamic) you can filter by variation attribute.
