how to filter by categories

    Hi, I’ve created a list of recent posts in my standard sidebar. However, I have several categories on my blog, I would like to know how to apply a filter so that when a person opens a post in a certain category, related posts appear from only that category. I wanted to do this with everyone. Thanks!
