• I want to show the current timezone for (in this case) Dallas Texas.

There appears to be no America/Dallas.
If I use CDT or CST, it would be wrong for half of the year, and besides your plugin doesn’t seem to accept either.
I have tried UTC -05:00, but your plugin doesn’t accept that, either. Besides, that doesn’t take into account DST, I believe.

What is the solution? (This is not specific to Dallas, TX, although that’s what I currently need; it applies to any city where there is no America/??? format.)

    Hello. Try this one:

    [mxmtzc_time_zone_clocks time_zone="America/Chicago" city_name="Texas" time_format="12" digital_clock="true" lang="en" lang_for_date="en" clock_type="clock-face2.png" show_days="true" clock_font_size="" show_seconds="true" arrow_type="classical" super_simple="false" arrows_color="unset" clock_upload="false"]

    Thank you. That worked.

However, it isn’t an ideal solution — you basically have to find/guess an America/??? code that is in the same time zone as the city you’re trying to set up. I searched without much luck.

Why doesn’t UTC+5, or CST work in your plugin?
I realize that the DST is an issue for that.

Here is an interesting article about time zones https://gtelocalize.com/how-many-time-zones-does-the-world-have/
