How to Export WordPress

    Hi I noted that there is no export function in wordpress hence I would like to know how to export wordpress to other blog platform. Thanks.

  • Note that the other application you would like to export your WP should have a compatible system to import the created backup.

    You may check the following addresses for more information about how you may export the information from your WP in way suitable for importing in a different platform:

    You should make sure that before installing the above plugins you have created a proper complete backup if your application.

    To the OP, while logged in, visit Manage -> Export. Even with your very old version of WordPress (2.0.2) there are some export options.

    Thank you for the reply. But HandySolo, I had tried Manage -> but found nothing on ‘Export’, to be exact, i see only posts, pages, categories, comments, awaiting moderation and files.
