    Thanks for your nice review.

    All your site needs to show translations to visitors are the MO files.

    Loco Translate doesn’t need to be installed on the server and the PO files aren’t actually used by WordPress.

    As a general rule, place your own custom MO files on your server like this:

    wp-content/languages/themes/<name>-<lang>.mo

    Where <name> is the Text Domain of your theme and <lang> is the relevant language code setting.

    Watch out if you’re copying MO files from inside the theme folder because their file names won’t contain the <name> part and this must be correct in the global languages directory.

    If you have specific issues, please post a link to the theme you are translating.
