How to exclude url from xml sitemap

    I have felt problem that some unwanted urls till showing at my xml sitemap. Anybody can help me that how can I exclude those urls from my xml sitemap. If possible that anyone can give me with an example. It will be very helpful for me. I am a new user of wordpress, so I don’t know how to use wordpress & also plugins properly. I have used SEO Yoast plugins.
