How to exclude custom categories

    Hello,
    I really like both of your plugins (Recently and Popular posts), they work perfectly on my site. Now here is my issue: I use custom post types and custom categories/taxonmies extensively on my site. If I choose a certain custom taxonomy to be displayed in the Recently widget all custom posts from all custom categories are being displayed. Can you make it so or show me how to be able to exclude certain custom categories from being shown like you did with AuthorID or PostID?
