How to exclude category of Category widget?

To find the id of a Category to exlude, go to:

Admin Dashboard>Posts>Categories>Search the text of your category>Mouse hover over the category title in the list>look below for the URL which includes “id=#”, the # is what to enter, separated by commas if more than one>clear server and browser cache>run site.

A plugin is NOT required – it’s rather simple, just follow my instructions.

Plugin above not work. I mean i want to exclude specific categories from the category widget drop-down menu. Do you have any suggestions?

Opps, please take a look at options of this. There is no options for exclude ID.

Without a site link or having listing your theme (many which include widgets that can and do provide the above functionality), I assumed you just wanted to know how to discover the id of a Category.

Please provide a site link and/or list your theme.
