How to exclude auto-insert from home page?

Please follow the following steps.

1. Navigate to Dashboard -> Auto Amazon Links -> Manage Auto-insert and click Edit of the subject item.
2. In the following auto-insert edit page, find the first Page Types option. And check Single Post.
3. Turn on the On/Off option above.

It appears there is a bug that causes the section name to be missing and you’ll find two Pages Types and On/Off options, which is confusing. But ignore the second ones which are meant to specify where to disable auto-insert.

Check Post Singolo of the first Tipi di Pagina option.

Also turn off the second On/Off option.

In essence, in order, always looking at the image above, the right combination to prevent the amazon product from appearing on the homepage in my case is as follows:

1 – Post/page content area (marked)
2- Zone / Content of the page / post on the publication (inserts the product links in the database so that they are static) (checked)
3 – Positions (below)
4 – On / Off (marked as active – ON)
5 – Page Types (Tagged – Single Post)
6 – Types of posts (I haven’t reported anything)
7 – Taxonomies (I didn’t report anything)
8 – On / Off (marked as active – ON)
9 – Page types (marked – Home/Front)

I noticed that the topic is marked as Resolved so is it okay by now?

If not and you are struggling to figure it out, I suggest that before you go with your own configurations, first try what I suggested above and see if it makes a difference.

That’s strange. I marked the topic as not resolved.

Can you test turning off the auto-insert item from the Manage Auto-insert screen? After turning it off, confirm that no plugin outputs are displayed on your home page.

If you still see some, try turning off all of them.

After that, try creating a new auto-insert item with the configuration suggested above.

I know it’s so that’s strange, in fact I’ve been trying for more than a week different possible combinations. Including the one you suggested, but the only one that works is the one I just described. Now distorting the state of affairs and trying another type of automatic insertion and configuration worries me because I don’t want to go back to square one and waste another week on this problem. As they say, as long as it works, do nothing. There’s probably a bug or conflict with some plugin in, I don’t know.
