Here’s the long version.
You might need to enable the Yoast box in your Yoast settings, tho.

function em_make_recurring_public($args) {
	$args['public'] = true;
	$args['publicly_queryable'] = true;
	return $args;
}
add_filter('em_cpt_event_recurring', 'em_make_recurring_public', 10, 1);

Please let us know if both versions of the snippet that Patrick have sent doesn’t work. I would also suggest trying it also on some default themes like twenty-series to avoid possible conflicts.
