How to enable the Homepage Slider?

  • How do I enable the built-in slider of this theme?

    I have created two pages (each with an image), and I have designated them as the sources of Slide 1 and Slide 2 via the “Home Page Settings” –> “Slider Settings” options screen.

    I have designated a different page as my static home page.

    I do not see the slider when I view the site. Please help me understand whatever steps I am missing.
